A splendid Sapphire, Gem-Set and Diamond Necklace with Detachable Pendant/Brooch.
Designed as a fine 18k white gold necklace of articulated floral and foliate links, set with brilliant-cut diamonds, alternating with cabochon-cut sapphires and emeralds, centring on a detachable pendant–brooch. The diamonds are approximately G–H colour, VS–SI clarity. Made in Italy, circa 1950.
Necklace length approximately 37.5 cm.
The necklace is accompanied by a GRS report stating that the sapphires are natural, blue, basaltic in origin, with no indications of heating.
